In GoldSeek Radio interview, GATA secretary cites BIS, Comex developments  (LISTEN)

Interviewed by GoldSeek Radio's Chris Waltzek, your secretary/treasurer discusses the increasing intervention of the Bank for International Settlements in the gold market over the past year, as well as the refusal of major financial news organizations to report it.  The biggest power of central banking these days, your secretary/treasurer contends, is not its infinite power of money creation but the complicity of financial news organizations in central banking's abuse of its power.  Also discussed is the explosion in the use of the "exchange for physicals" mechanism for settling Comex gold and silver contracts off the exchange, a development suggesting tightness in the market.  All major central banks, your secretary/treasurer says, are participating in the gold price suppression scheme for the time being.... http://radio.goldseek.com/nuggets/powell.04.25.18.mp3

...The legal group initiated the request Feb. 5 following news reports that the Obama State Department “created a report concerning UNRWA relief to Palestinian ‘refugees’ but unnecessarily (and thus improperly) gave it a ‘Classified’ designation to prevent the information from reaching Congress and the public.”...

“Rather than providing Congress with the completed report, it appears the State Department classified the report and has withheld it from outside eyes, going so far, the media reports, as to ignore a 2017 congressional directive that the department produce an unclassified version of the report. The report is said to confirm that the number of Palestinian ‘refugees’ is only in the tens of thousands, rather than, as UNRWA claims, the millions,” ACLJ said.  The State Department, said ACLJ, “has bought into the leftist, Palestinian, U.N. narrative that Israel is an aggressor nation – rather than one trying to protect its sovereignty and citizens – and that because Palestinians have no nation of their own (a choice made, ironically, by the Palestinian leadership itself in rejecting multiple two-state scenarios offered by Israel), they are ‘refugees’ – a specific legal term with international legal repercussions that is blatantly misused in this situation.”  Calling Palestinians “refugees” is legally and factually incorrect, and needs to end, the organization said.... http://www.wnd.com/2018/04/lawsuit-anti-israel-deep-state-concealing-u-n-fraud/

For the first time ever, Israel’s government is reaching out beyond the Jewish people

In a historic first, the Israeli government is moving forward with a plan to reconnect with tens of millions of people that apparently have Jewish ancestry. Such a project may not only drastically change the demographics of Israel but also bring about a prophecy in Obadiah suggesting that these people will fill up the Negev region in southern Israel, paving the way for the Messiah.

How Britain engaged in a covert operation to overthrow Assad

.....UK covert operations appear to have begun in late 2011, a few months after popular demonstrations started challenging the Syrian regime in March of that year. Already repressive, Assad's regime resorted to violence to try to quell the protests, routinely firing into crowds, detaining thousands and subjecting many to torture.  As the number of dead at the hands of the regime mounted, so did opposition to it. The UK and its allies spotted an opportunity, which they had long been looking for, to remove an independent, nationalist regime in the region and deepen their overall control of the Middle East.....  http://www.middleeasteye.net/columns/how-britain-engaged-covert-operation-overthrow-assad-1437573498

Member states have voted in favour of an almost complete ban on the use of neonicotinoid insecticides across the EU. Scientific studies have long linked their use to the decline of honeybees, wild bees and other pollinators. The move represents a major extension of existing restrictions, in place since 2013.
