Canadian Maple Leaf 1 oz Palladium Coin History: 

The newest member of the Canadian Maple Leaf family, the Palladium Maple Leaf bullion coin, was first introduced in 2005.  The Palliadum Maples were the first government-issued palladium bullion coin.  They were produced in 2005, 2006, 2007.  There was a single year "one-off" production in 2009, after which the Palladium Maples went on hiatus.

In 2015 the 1 ozt Palladium Maple Leafs was issued once again, and it has been produced annually ever since.

Each coin is exactly one troy ounce of pure .9995 fine palladium. This is Canada's official palladium bullion.  It features an image of Queen Elizabeth II, the mint date and $50 Canadian face value on the coin's obverse, and Canada's national symbol, the maple leaf, on the reverse along with the coin's weight and fineness. The Palladium Maple Leaf's weight, fineness and face value are guaranteed by the Canadian government.
